VA Homeloan, What's up?

If you're looking here at this specific blog post, you are probably looking for information on a VA home loan, what is it, how to get it, and everything in between. Well worry not because I got you with this awesome explanation from Jimmy Vercellino. He does an amazing job breaking it down for you and outlining some of the critical steps that take place in order to get you your entitlement.

I know what some of you are thinking... "But sarge, do I even qualify for a VA Loan???". Well my answer to you is a question in return. Have you served over 90 days active duty consecutively? Have you ended your Military service on good terms (Without a dishonorable discharge, and or been notified you were going to loose benefits)? Well if you've answered yes to either or both, congratulations! You are 99% qualified in my book (I'm not licensed to say 100%... legally...).

If you're unsure if you qualify for the VA Home loan, I can say I 100% recommend you check out the official website and determine your eligibility, the link is HERE. If you ever have any questions about anything VA related the best source is the VA itself. I know we all like to go through our old squad leader or our best friends from basic training or that one FRG meeting, but the only way to be sure what's going on is to check it out on the VA website or give them a call.

Anyway, moving forward finally. You're still here so you think you qualify or know you do, outstanding! Below is the video I promised. If you have any questions you can reach out to Jimmy directly or once again, the VA themselves. I really hope this video helps you understand your entitlement(s) for serving your country. Thank you for your service.

PCS 2023

PCS SEASON IS HERE

PCS season is in full swing, and that means that you are more than likely getting ready to move. This also means the stress of packing up the whole family and moving them across a county is staring you in the face. I have always hated the feeling of PCS season, because when we moved it wasn't a quick skip on the pond, it was always a whole MF ocean. My last PCS was from Fort Wainwright to Fort Hood, and I decided to drive that bad boy. 3 Human beings, 2 cars and 1 dog all shoved into a 2015 Toyota Tundra for 3,783 miles.

You're in luck though, because I have something now that I didn't back then. With the low payment of free 99 you can now help mitigate your stress levels and pass on your PCS intentions to the lowest level with a custom tailored checklist! Military One Source made it easy for you to PCS with your family, they thought of everything that you probably forgot because your 1SG is calling you into final formation during your post mandated clearing time.

Seriously though, this checklist is a huge help to keep everything organized. For the few things that it doesn't cover and to add a nice OPORD feel to your PCS, I have a personal binder that I use and hand out. You can literally print off all of the pages and fill it out, keeping everything organized and on hard-side. If you're in Cavazos and about to PCS then just hit me up and you can swing by my office and grab one.

Of course this blog wouldn't be ran by a Licensed Texas REALTOR® if I didn't tell you how I can list your home for sale during your upcoming PCS, and get you the best price with the best conditions. I guess I should also remind you that I can help you and your family in buying your next home. My job in the Military was to train and mentor our troops, now it's to serve them. Let me represent your best interest and help you with your largest financial transaction. You can find my contact on my website linked in this page.
